If the wearer of a piece of equipment use an allen key to bolt it together, they can always unbolt it. However if someone else does it, the wearer will be unable to undo the bolt on their own, however, anyone else can assist them.

The chaining ring of the fallen princess collar is attached permanently to the mending plate that is used to bolt the collar together. If the collar is completely unbolted, the mending plate “falls out” and so does the chaining ring.

If the chaining ring is removed, any lock, accessory, or chain drawn to and from it will also be removed.
